Tess Ledeux: A Pedagogical Portrait to Read and Listen on Bien-dire

Level B2/C1 | Bien-dire n°144 (sept-oct 22)

Tess Ledeux recently announced that she will not compete in the upcoming Olympic Games for medical reasons. This sporting news highlights the journey of one of France’s most prominent freestyle skiers.

In Bien-dire issue 164, we published a detailed portrait of Tess Ledeux that covers her athletic career and experiences in competitive skiing. This article was created as a pedagogical resource aimed at French learners. It offers valuable practice with authentic language and contemporary vocabulary related to sport and biography.

What makes this resource unique is that it can be read and listened to at the same time. An audio recording of the article, read by a native French speaker, is available directly with the text. This format is especially helpful for learners who want to improve both their reading comprehension and listening skills.
